Hey all, I'm starting a podcast that features guests that live alternative lifestyles here in SoCal, such as sugar babies/daddies, BDSM community members, furries, drag queens, swingers, etc. to basically talk about their lives and how they got to where they are at now. I am also looking for those who work in any area of the adult industry!
I definitely want to have listener interaction via calls and/or emails with questions, although we may or may not have this segment based on the guest (similar to Loveline, I suppose). I understand that these topics are probably covered in a number of podcasts and other types of media, but I figured I can contribute to that field of knowledge since I have the right contacts for it.
I've been in contact with some members of some of these communities and it's fascinating to hear their stories, so I figure maybe I can share them with the world (while retaining their privacy and anonymity, if applicable).
Ultimately, my goal is to hopefully remove some of the stigma that comes with some of these lifestyle decisions.
I've worked a number of years as a peer counselor, so I'll be certain to remain sensitive and non-judgemental towards my guests for their lifestyle decisions. I'll be there to learn just as much as the listeners are!
